Equine Arteritis Virus (EAV) MAb Ascites IgG1 Isotype

This monoclonal antibody is specific for the nucleocapsid (N) protein of Equine Arteritis Virus (EAV). The antibody has been demonstrated to react with the Bucyrus strain of EAV. Reactivity with other strains has not been investigated by VMRD. The antibody is of IgG1 isotype. Known applications include indirect fluorescence assays (IFA), Western blot, and competitive binding assays. The monoclonal antibody is produced as mouse ascites fluid, clarified by centrifugation, and filtered through a 0.2 micrometer filter. The concentration is 1.0 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline, containing 4 mg/ml BSA, and preserved with 0.09% sodium azide.
