This test kit provides a standard operating procedure for detection of BSE in obex tissues of ruminants using monoclonal antibody immunohistochemistry. Antibody F99/97.6.1 recognizes a conserved epitope (QYQRES) of the ruminant prion protein. This test kit contains all critical reagents necessary to perform the test: target retrieval buffer, proteinase K, antibody F99/97.6.1, antibody diluent, anti-mouse-IgG-biotinilated secondary antibody, peroxidase labeled straptavidin and AEC substrate-chromagen. |
